Negotiation of a licence is only part of the commercialisation process.  It is also crucial to provide a professional and comprehensive technology transfer package. This will minimise the licensee’s time to market (in the case of a “make and sell” licence) or help accelerate the licensee’s decision-making process (in the case of an evaluation licence) and will in both cases expedite the flow of income to the licensor.    

Identification and collation of the elements of a technology transfer package can be extremely expensive, time-consuming and frustrating when undertaken “in house” by a licensor.
